CMG and The Mullen Foundation are pleased to announce a new award created to recognize individuals and teams who have driven IT improvements to drive significant change within their organizations. The IMPACT Innovation Award will be awarded to a worthy individual or team applicant based on the impact that their work has had within their organization. Competitive applications will showcase real results from individuals, teams, or companies.
Award FINALISTS receive:
- Recognition at the CMG IMPACT Conference
- Speaking Role at CMG IMPACT
- Recognition in CMG publications and on the CMG.org website
- Opportunities to contribute to the field as thought leaders
Additionally, WINNERS shall receive:
- An engraved award acknowledging the winner’s outstanding achievement
- A Dedicated press release announcing selection
- A produced video of the awards program, their IMPACT Conference Session, and print collateral for sharing and distribution.
The application deadline is Wednesday, December 8th and applicants will be notified of their status by December 13th.

To be considered, your submitted project, program, tool, or process must have been published, implemented, or completed within three years of the date of submission.
If selected, finalists will get to participate in an on-camera interview to discuss their application and outcomes. Taping of this video will happen in December/January at a time to be determined by the finalist and CMG’s videographers.

In 2020, the company was able to enable a fully remote workforce with no operational downtime or project delays.”

How to Nominate and Apply
Applicants shall self-nominate or may be nominated by a peer.
Nominees and applicants should complete the award application by the deadline of Wednesday, December 8th.
The application will ask applicants about the team members that contributed and the financial, cultural, and technological impacts of their work. While specific budget numbers round out an application, they are not required.
Terms and Conditions
Finalists are expected to participate in the IMPACT Innovation Awards Presentation on January 31st and are strongly encouraged to promote participation in the program throughout their company. The cost of participation in the awards program for finalist companies shall be reduced to $25 per attendee or $250 per company.
Additionally, to further our mission of peer-to-peer education, finalists are asked to present an IMPACT conference presentation of at least 20 minutes plus 10 minutes of live Q&A during the week of the IMPACT Conference. This session should be used for the finalist to share their lessons learned and best practices with the CMG community.
All winners and finalists agree, as a condition of their receipt of the award, to allow CMG to use their image, name, and nomination information in any marketing materials, media, and other forms of publicity, without further permission or compensation. Participant(s) affirm that they have the right to use all materials and personal information included in their submission packets.
All participants agree to be bound by these terms and by the decisions of CMG, including, but not limited to, decisions regarding eligibility and award recipients, which are final and binding in all respects. CMG reserves the right to revise, suspend, or cancel this award program in its sole discretion.
CMG will maintain the privacy of any personal information provided with your application as described in its Privacy Statement. CMG may use the personal information you provide to send you communications about the award process and related promotional activities. CMG will maintain the personal information you provide for up to three years unless a longer period is required for legal or regulatory requirements.
A panel of judges will review all applications which will be scored independently prior to a discussion of top submissions. Any judges that are within arm’s reach of the applicant shall recuse themselves from judging and discussion of said application. The decisions of the judging panel are final.
