Tours of Seattle:  The Grand Hyatt Concierge Staff offers tours of Seattle from many locally owned tour companies; we have a 3 hour tour that visits all the interest points in Seattle  $74.00 per person.

Mount Rainier Tours:  If you have a free day.  Mount Rainier is a beautiful national park with alpine meadows, crystal clear lakes, and imposing glaciers.  We offer tours for hikers as well as the less energetic. Pick up at the hotel at 7:10 AM – 6:30 PM return.$147.00

Gourmet Tours:  We have fantastic gourmet walking tours of Pike Place Market, and gourmet restaurants in Seattle.  These start close to the hotel and only take a few hours.

Pike’s Market Tours with tastings along the way, Chocolate Tours of the local sweets tastings.

Boeing Factory: Anyone interested in engineering or planes should see this tour.  It takes about 4 hours or so including transportation and features is a fascinating 90 minute walking tour of Boeing’s facilities. $94.00 person 9:30,11:30 AM and 2 PM

Whale Watching:  Another thing to do if you have a free full day.  The Pacific Northwest is unique in that we have major human and orca populations in close proximity in relatively calm waters.  So you can watch whales without being on the open ocean. 6 hour whale watch. Transportation can be arranged to Edmonds to get the boat.$139.00 +tax.

Boat Cruises:  Argosy Cruises offers one hour harbor and a 90 minute Locks cruises.  Let’s go Sailing offers a sail trip on Puget Sound for 2 hours.

Underground Tour:  This is a 90 minute walking tour through the ruins of old Seattle that was paved over after a fire.  It leaves every hour from 10AM to 7PM, and does not require reservations. Beneath the Streets – 60 minute tour.

The Great Wheel: One of the largest Ferris Wheels in the USA is a 15 minute walk from The Hyatt Olive 8. It’s high tech and offers a great view of the Seattle Skyline, bay, and mountains.
